Our meetings
What to expect...
Meetings typically last for one hour. The chair opens the meeting with a moment of silence, followed by the Serenity Prayer and two or three A.A. readings. The chair will ask if there are any people new to A.A. attending the meeting who would like to introduce themselves. It isn’t mandatory to identify yourself, but it might be helpful if you are attending your first meeting.

The chair will then begin the discussion by introducing a topic related to the AA program. Members take turns commenting ("sharing") one at a time for the remainder of the hour.

Finally, meetings will usually close by recognizing sobriety anniversaries and then reciting the Lord's Prayer.

The Twelfth Tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous:
"Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities."
